Description

This rare plume agate cabochon pendant is exuberant with all the colors of California.  The luster and iridescence of the gold that would be discovered, the intense oranges that would become endless fields of poppies, the deep reds of sunsets sinking into the Pacific Ocean.  Even touches of violets like fingers of coastal fogs.

Old stock Wingate Pass agate from the Wingate Pass Mine in Death Valley, California.  The former mine site was closed over 60 years ago and is now the site of a Naval Ordnance Testing Facility. 

Details:

The pendant is suspended from our Signature Bail made with recycled 22k gold. The bail has a 6mm diameter for chains or beads.

The gemstone is captured with 18k gold prongs. The backplate is made of recycled Argentium silver.

The pendant is 1 1/2″ long and 7/8″ wide.  Cabochon is 7mm thick.  

This is a standalone pendant. Chain is not included.
